{Announcements for week ending Dec. 21st}

Past: God is wrathful. Understanding this causes us to check ourselves. Whom are you trusting in? How do you treat sin? How do you share God’s love with Family and Friends?

Present:

1.      Prayer - Prayer meeting (Wed. Dec. 16th, 2009) is at 7:45 pm.  We will meet in Nathan’s Office. Come to pray, stay to hang out.

2.      Giving – Take advantage of continuing opportunities to donate 1) non-perishable foods to the Shelf of Hope or 2) help sponsor our two children through WorldVision.

3.      Serving – We will continue to have opportunities to serve, like keeping the LYF room clean, service projects, etc…

a.      If you want to read for Christmas Eve, contact Christine Cho.

4.      CommUnity – Pray for peace and unity in LYF.

a.      No more dividing walls of hostility. (Eph. 2:14-16)

b.      Register for Winter Teen Conference ’10!

Friday (Dec. 18th) –

-          LYF – Christmas Party – We’ll have basically a regular night, with some extra fun thrown in!

o       Jr. High brings Drinks, 9^th-10^th brings sweet snacks, 11^th and 12^th bring salty snacks.

Sunday (Dec. 20th) –

  - 10 am – Combined Christmas Worship with Cantonese Congregation

              - 11:30 am – Refreshments

       2.   Next Week:

Thursday (Dec. 24^th) – Christmas Eve Worship Service.

-          Christine Cho is looking for readers. Talk to her if you’re interested!

Friday (Dec. 25th) –

-          No LYF – Christmas Day! – Celebrate the Birth of our Savior with your family

Sunday (Dec. 27th) –

  - 10 am –Worship

              - 11:30 am – No Sunday School because of Christmas

12/25 – We celebrate the birth of our Savior, and the incarnation of our Great God!

1/2/10 – Transition Track, Boston Sheraton, $40 to register (High School Seniors Only)

1/3/10 – Registration Due for WTC or pay full price on 1/10/10!

2/12-2/15 – Winter Teen Conference!

7/18-7/23 – Boston Project ’10!

***Winter Teen Conference 2010, February 12-15, Alton NH @ Camp Brookwoods***

Hey LYFers, it is that time of year again. Before you know it, Christmas will be here, then a new semester at school, and on Valentine’s Day Weekend – Winter Teen Conference 2010. To go, you must register (which means filling out the form, see below, and paying for the conference) by Jan. 10^th. But if you register by Jan. 3^rd, it will cost you $10 less.

Invite friends, fill out the registration form entirely, and return by Jan. 3^rd or 10^th.

Also, please take note that there will be an additional transportation fee (of $30 per person) for us to secure a coach bus to take us to and from the camp.

(So total cost, if you register by Jan. 3rd, = $160 = what it cost last year - no new fees!)
